Altadena Foothills 4H in the Community

Altadena Foothills 4-H Gets a Community Garden Plot

Thanks to the dedication and hard work of local business owner and 4-H volunteers Matt and Rebecca Tufenkian, Altadena Foothills 4-H has its own plot. This will allow our community youth to continue their hands-on learning about gardening in one of Altadena's most beautiful spots! Our 4-H youth are also learning that their participation in the local community is valued.

Altadena Foothills 4-H Members Care!

Altadena Foothill 4-H members work together to plan a community service project. One of 4-H’s principles is to make a positive impact in the community, so members vote on projects, such as helping homeless and low-income families, picking up trash along hiking trails, or partnering with a local food bank.
