Youth must have paid their club registration fee in order to be eligible to participate in projects. Members may enroll in multiple projects.

 


rabbits

ages: 5+

place: Club leader's home in Altadena; address will be sent after enrollment
overview: Discover different breeds, rabbits in stories and myths, healthy rabbit habits, how to create a safe home for a rabbit, and building rabbit first aid kit. Bring a binder with some paper to take notes. No rabbit needed.



gardening


ages: 5+

overview: Using basic bricks and pieces that people have lying around the house, we will learn about tinkering and engineering by building small Lego constructs.  Depending on interest, we can get as complex as you like!



coding


ages: 8+

overview: Learn the basics of computer programming by creating simple games in Scratch. You will be encouraged to use your own artwork in the assignments. Have your own device to work on.
