Altadena Foothills 4H partners with members of the community to bring leadership, inspiration, and hands-on learning to young people. Even in our urban environment, we can introduce youth members to animal care-taking, gardening, food science, and so much more. Our youth members have participated in projects to learn about goats, chickens, rabbits, and horses. They have opportunities to learn the basics of urban agriculture, camping, and careers in STEM.
Altadena Foothills 4H is a youth club that give kids ages
5-19 hands-on experiences they can’t get anywhere else. We are 100% volunteer-run. Youth members are offered a unique variety of topics to explore, because we have trained, caring adult volunteers from the community who give their time
to create memorable and empowering experiences.
Consider what you can do for your child,
for your club, and for your community. Our youth are worth it! We thank you for your participation and your support.
